From the list below, please choose which volunteering times best fit your schedule. If you cannot make any of the times listed below, you may choose "Berkeley High Lesson Plan Writing," where the DeCal facilitator will contact you to find a time that fits your schedule.
***Remember you must attend the DeCal class on Monday of the week you choose to volunteer.*** If volunteering at Berkeley High, please attend the DeCal on Mondays in 55 Evans from 7-8p If volunteering at any other site, please attend the DeCal on Mondays in 79 Dwinelle from 7-8p
Note: If volunteering at Berkeley High, please sign up for 2 consecutive weeks at the same time, at least 1 week in advance If volunteering at Berkeley High as a mentor (not a lesson plan writer), you must first attend a screening orientation with the Berkeley School Volunteers, which will be setup by the DeCal facilitator (more details at: http://www.bpef-online.org/volunteers.html#training) If volunteering at YWCA-Emerson, Acorn & Sankofa Elementary, you must be female
All mentoring signups must be made at least by the weekend before the week you would like to mentor. Signups for each week will promptly close on Monday night at 7pm when the DeCal classes begin.
