Excursions – accompanying persons program

The Conference Organizers are now planning local area excursions on a half day or full day basis for accompanying persons or interested individuals. Lunch will be provided with each excursion. Any payments will be taken at the Symposium registration desk. At this point, to assist our planning, we are trying to assess interests you may have in one or more of these possible programs. Just click on the buttons of interest below. This is for survey and planning purposes. At this time, you are not under obligation to take or pay for an excursion.

Verden Bell Factory Museum, a fascinating look through time at one of the world’s most admired bell makers – ½ day
City Center and Environs Tour – ½ day
Northern Kentucky Overview – ½ day
Tour Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky popular visit places including city center, Mt. Adams, Krohn Conservatory, Taft Museum, Universities and others - full day
Sacred Spaces Tour – be surprised at the depth and variety these area places – full day
Cincinnati Museum Center and Omni Max Theatre – full day
USA Air Force Museum – Dayton, OH ; one hour away, and a superb collection of warplanes of several nations and their stories – full day
Kentucky Horse Park; one hour away - to get a feel of the greatest thoroughbred racing area of the world – full day
Post-Symposium Tour - Mammoth Cave with stops on our way back in Bardstown (great summer entertainment and near the home of ‘Makers Mark’ only Kentucky Bourbon here – none of that Scotch or Irish stuff) and at the Stephen Foster Memorial Homestead. - 2½ days
