ΔΥ Scholarship Application

The gentlemen of Delta Upsilon would like to offer you information about our scholarships. Currently there are two scholarships to offer for incoming freshman. First, our Linus Pauling Humanitarian scholarship which is attributed to our noted alumni and two time Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling. Prior to graduation from Oregon State University, Linus Pauling started our chapter of Delta Upsilon. Second, we have our Four Founding Principles scholarship, used to reward adherence to our principles by incoming associate members. The principles of developing character, diffusing liberal culture, promoting friendship and advancing justice are shared and revered by Delta Upsilons membership.
The Linus Pauling Humanitarian scholarship is given out to two outstanding male freshman entering Oregon State University next year. Scholarships are valued at $1,000 for each recipient. Next, the Four Founding Principles scholarship is given to four associate members moving into the chapter house this fall. This award is valued at $500 for each recipient.
