Singapore- I brought some camera accessories as they were cheaper then home which are under the misc. categoryEgypt: my transport costs are really hıg due to 2 very expensıve ferrys, one Hurghada to Sharm and one from Nuwıeba to Jordan, both equal to just over half my total transport costsSyria-We got screwed over coming back into the country after being in lebanon and had to pay a second visa fee, which put up costs considerably

the train from Irkutsk to Mongolia was major trans-sib cost at $166, almost a third of the total cost. This train has no 3rd class and you must take second classmisc costs in Russia included a substantial amount on buying warm clothes which I had hardly any of when I arrivedSightseeing included van and guide hire for 13 days, also included half our meals during this time. Accommodation and other meals and sightseeing costs during van trip are separated outTrans-Siberian train ride was another expensive one, nly second class available

visa registration costs are what we payed hotels to register visa'smost hotels included in but hostels were extramost things in Mongolia were in USD, and unfortunately our exchange rate and dropped drastically just before Mongolia from around .80 to .55 affecting our costs hugely in NZD

Misc includes buying an external hard drive and shipping a box back to NZThailand- I stayed with friends in Bangkok but blew all the last of my money on shopping, also about $30 in Australia on the way home for a day. Without all the shopping Thailand would have been about half as muchI got stuck at the border and had to bribe my way out with $80 USD which is why my supposedly short cheap detour was ver expensive
