10/23/2008 1:13:42Jeannene Brown-Aid, RVPJeannene@TopProducer.comFOr both home chapters and my regions chapters- the biggest challange is the media's spin on the current economic situation which many individuals embrace and therefore create their own less than favorable situations. Keeping positive attitudes and evolving with the challanges we are facing, more than ever needs surrounding oneself with positive attitudes of doing differnt if you want the results not to be the status quo.- I also feel the need for strong professional friendships as being key to staying on top of the industry and honing our professional skills through strong education- and not pulling back in this area. Ways to communicate that are not one dementional are key. Relying too much on the written word can be fatal, as misunderstandings do to a simple misplaced comma can change the meaning of something entirely. Printed newsletter, Email newsletterPresident Elect4Members are eager to participate in Chapter leadership. The CRS classes we sponsor are successful and profitable. 10/24/2008 8:46:15Linda K Reinpoldlindareinpold@msn.comGetting students to attend classes. They are low and have had to cancel one and maybe another one before year end. This has had a financial impact on the chapter along with lower membership.Telephone, Printed newsletter, e-mail blasts, websitePresident Elect4The Chapter would be filling the classes, membership numbers would increase, our committees would be filled and financially stable. All of the above would help provide quality and consistent delivery to candidates and membership ensuring good education. With good classes for the designation and other topic/hot topics after designation,CRS would continue it's benefits to members. After classes, provide networking opportunities. Also, provide networking opportunities throughout the state for members to have better referral connections.

1. Have regional representives throughout the state
2. Promote Public Relations
3. Promote Chapter with a heart
4. Up-date all current CRSs on regular basis
5. Continue to find ways to make CRS classes more afordable so all realtors can take advantage of waht this great organization has to offer.

10/26/2008 8:10:29Victoria Williamsvwilliams@cbbestsellers.comI think we have two equal challenges.
1. Including members who are in districts outside of Reno.
2. Providing value to our members given the current state of the market. Providing member benefits without depleting our treasury.
Telephone, Printed newsletter, Email newsletterPresident7We would be providing member benefits and contributing to local charities without concern of depleting our treasury.
We would have large attendance at all of our functions and meetings.
We would have people clamoring for leadership and committee positions.

10/26/2008 13:56:35Carol MurphyCarol@CarolMurphy.netResponse with an RVP opinion: Nuturing sufficient attendance at CRS course to break even or make a profit. More Region 9
officers have asked for my help on this topic than in my previous 2 years. REALTORS just aren't spending money to attend courses.
TelephoneTechnology3Ideal Chapter has members that want to participate, want to become officers and know the benefits of being a CRS Chapter member. Members want to increase the knowledge of their peers and network with their state REALTORS. Members would be interested in attending CRS courses to update their skills for todays real estate market. An ideal Chapter would have more than two officers that attend national meetings so they can explain the benefits of being a CRS to their peers.
