2/4/2009 20:12:14909032Tonight was the first evening workout with 2 students who are working on accomplishing the student requirements of the UBBT. When they are ready I will be able to tell everyone who they are. I am so excited to have them and Mr. Doug to work out with. I believe that others will join them.

But then I just put my head to it and started my workout in the evening and got it done along with 2 more meeting after classes were done. I actually feel good about what I got done. Now I have to keep at it.

2/12/2009 5:43:42175175YesSo this was a short morning with an all day meeting. Today I will partially fulfill one of my personal victories. I will attend a Steven Covey seminar on Focus: Time Management.
This is a prelude to a training program I hope to attend on teaching the 7 habits to all of our students.

It was a great day today and it is only 11 AM, I must now do everything I can to get others to feel this feeling by training hard, and doing good for others in ways they may never have thought of before.

2/15/2009 15:35:473503503Yeslast week I attended a Steven Covey workshop and this weekend I was able to get my head wrapped around that quite well. This of course was around all the personal things and such too. but given everything today was OK - not great - but better than last weekend and I hope to build on that success. I did start working on the top 2 sides of my form on Thursday of this past week. I hope to have it better by the end of the week with 2 full weeks of practice on that part of the forms.

2/17/2009 21:12:382.5Yes8Today did not get started very well. Rough night of sleep 5:15 start to my day instead of the normal 4 AM start and a 7:30 meeting. Got to the studio at 9:45 AM and got some miles in and a few rounds of sparring - non of which were stellar. I will be in bed tonight by 10 PM and if I can get my 6 hours of sleep I will be great tomorrow - and will work on better focus.

I had a good day administratively but I think at the end of the day I would have felt better about myself if I had committed to my physical training better. Saturday is a test day and I will need to commit the morning hours to physical.

Tomorrow I will be staying home and working out and I will be working on some of my favorite projects. (Rain Barrels, Help a Teacher and my newest project in coordination with my instructor - a New Student Handbook- that will be used by instructors around the USA) isn't life wonderful. I may get 800 - 1000 push ups tomorrow

2/22/2009 13:27:147007005.5YesI was determined to get some pushups done today. In the month of March I will be increasing the number of pu / su in each set to 40. I believe by the end of the year I will be at doing 5 sets with 10 minutes in between of 85 push ups and sit ups . That is a goal.

2/23/2009 20:33:3917517567Yes60.5Today was a very good day and tonight we had a nice group of 7 working out together. I have to work on side kicks in my form and I did so tonight. The BJJ was practice of the different control positions and we added a little resistance to make it a bit better. My thought on this is just one step at the time. I want this to be a good experience for me and everyone training with us.

I am so sore and tired and yet at the same time have so much energy that I cannot wait to get up in the morning to get started. Getting stronger!! By the way there is nothing better than having good training partners like I do.

I must say it is mostly because I had teammates there to help keep me going. Thank goodness for them. I am learning more and more how important team mates are.

I just want to stay on track and have a good tomorrow. Today I am going to rest the rest of the day from my own physical activity and now start on getting ready for teaching.

2/28/2009 5:05:27175175YesA day full of surprises. Cleaning person out sick. So I decided to wait to clean till some help came in. So then we got started and out of nowhere came in a person to interview me for a nomination as Business Partner of the Year with the school system. The question I asked myself when it was done was, Did I allow an activity to become important that may not have been. Thanks to those who cleaned - but I believe I need to refocus.
