. | CTED | Urban Growth Areas Map | | | Urban Growth Areas Map” is a compilation of county adopted Urban Growth Areas (UGA) that are required by the Growth Management Act - RCW 36.70A.130(3). In general, it shows the limits of planned urban development for the next 20 years for counties and cities fully planning under the GMA. For jurisdictions not required to designated an UGA, the boundary is the current city limits as of the map’s publication date. The base map is composed from the WSDOT 1:24,000 scale ArcView layers from their website. The original UGA boundaries were compiled from a variety of sources, with varying degrees of metadata and accuracy. All boundaries are current as of June 30, 2001.
