Technical Notes:

.

We started this rengay with the theme of "Where" but as it developed we found snow was the more prominent theme. Yvonne likes a rengay to tell a story so we also chose to write this rengay with a somewhat narrative tone.

.

5. The thought here is of the person who has just dropped their keys into the snow, paying all their attention to that and watching the hole that the keys had made in the snow. Then, from somewhere, there is a startling sneeze. Turning around, the person sees the bushes move and with that movement the snow on the branches falls to the ground. Since it has freshly snowed the snow falls along with the movement of the branches. Who sneezed? Was it a person? Was it perhaps an animal?
