. | 5/1/2009 | 7:00 AM | 262 | 37.59 | 70 | 21.08% | Began at 332 lbs on January 25, 2009. |
. | 5/3/2009 | 8:00 AM | 269 | 38.59 | 63 | 18.98% | morning after our family fish fry, stuffed myself silly. |
. | 5/5/2009 | 6:30 AM | 261 | 37.45 | 71 | 21.39% | fasted sunday and monday, and walked 10 miles sunday and 11 monday to get those fish fry pounds off. |
. | 5/6/2009 | 8:00 AM | 264 | 37.88 | 68 | 20.48% | I'm up 3 pounds from yesterday. I guess eating a whole bag of baked tostitos with a jar of salsa wasn't a good way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo huh? Hopefully it's nothing a brisk 5 mile walk and a little porcelain therapy won't cure. |
. | 5/8/2009 | 4:45 AM | 260.2 | 37.33 | 71.8 | 21.63% | Got up early to walk to the church in time for our men's 6AM prayer group. Also walked back home, 3 miles each way. Yet I weighed slightly heavier (260.6) when I got back. I guess I was pretty dehydrated before I left, because all I've had is one small cup of coffee and a bottled water. |
. | 5/9/2009 | 8:00 PM | 256.4 | 36.79 | 75.6 | 22.77% | Walked a little over a mile, very slowly, with one of my Sr. Adult men from church at 7 this AM. Then came home and walked another 3 with the dog. After that I spent most of the day mowing my lawn, with a push mower. I probably walked about 8 miles cutting grass. I've kept my eating down to about 400 calories today, including one chicken nugget, carrot and raisin salad and a drink. I'm sure this weight may be a little low due to being dehydrated after all that lawn mowing. Hopefully it's low enough that I won't be bouncing back into the 260s though. Now just to get to 250 or below by the time Jon comes home on May 29. |
. | 5/13/2009 | 11:00 AM | 257 | 36.87 | 75 | 22.59% | After dropping well into the 250's Saturday, I got back into the low 260's on Sunday, Mother's Day. However, I have managed to weigh in in the 258-259 range the last two mornings, and was down to 257 after my 5 mle walk this morning. I have 16 more days to get to a firm 250 before Jon get's home. |
. | 5/15/2009 | 5:30 AM | 258.5 | 37.09 | 73.5 | 22.14% | Too many enchiladas & chips, and too much leftover brisket last night. |
. | | 11:00 AM | 254.5 | 36.51 | 77.5 | 23.34% | After a 6 mile walk/jog. I'm sure I'll come back up a couple of pounds after I hydrate. But seeing this does make me feel better about getting to 250 in the next 2 weeks. Maybe I could even do it by this time next week. |
. | 5/17/2009 | 6:30 AM | 253 | 36.30 | 79 | 23.80% | Walked 4 miles this morning. I hope I can walk a few more after the evening service tonight. Busy day at church in between. |
. | 5/19/2009 | 10:00 PM | 254.5 | 36.51 | 77.5 | 23.34% | I guess I've been pretty stuck at this weight since Friday night, despite a brief dip after my Sunday morning walk. But I've eaten light today, had a good 4.25 walk/jog while Catherine did gymnastics. I'm hoping to be a least a half pound down tomorrow am. fingers crossed. Nine more days to hit 250 before Jon comes home. |
. | 5/20/2009 | 10:00 AM | 252 | 36.15 | 80 | 24.10% | I was 253 when I got up. Since then I mowed about a third of my lawn, before the mower quit on me, then took the dog for a 2 mile walk. If it's real, 252 is the 80 pound mark. About halfway to goal. |
. | 5/27/2009 | 6:00 AM | 248 | 35.58 | 84 | 25.30% | I didn't realize it had been a week since I had posted here. Mostly it's because there's been little change since a week ago, until today. I've floated up and down in the 251-253 range for a week, finally seeing a drop last night. |
. | 5/28/2009 | 7:00 PM | 250 | 35.87 | 82 | 24.70% | Up a couple pounds since yesterday morning, but I'm going to cut grass. It should be back down in the morning. Next goal, 240 by the time Jon leaves, on the 21st. That's college graduation weight. That's only been 24 years ago. |
. | | 11:00 PM | 246.5 | 35.37 | 85.5 | 25.75% | I only had time to mow the front, but I walked the dog for an hour and a half after that. Nice drop. Wonder what it'll be in the morning? |
. | 6/3/2009 | 6:00 AM | 245 | 35.15 | 87 | 26.20% | |
. | 6/11/2009 | 5:00 AM | 240 | 34.43 | 92 | 27.71% | I was down to 239.8 last night after a six-mile walk/run. I knew once I hydrated that would come back up a little. After I have my morning coffee and cereal this 240 will climb a pound or two also. Still, the 230s shouldn't be far away. Getting to 240 is a significant marker. I was 240 when I graduated from college and went to seminary in June 1985. I lost down to 190 by Christmas of that year. Shooting for 170 by Christmas this year, but I'd be tickled pink to be 190. |
. | 6/16/2009 | 9:00 AM | 238.5 | 34.22 | 93.5 | 28.16% | I need another pound and a half to hit the 95 pound mark. I already passed my goal of getting down to 240 lbs before Jon flies back to Germany on Father's day. |
. | 6/21/2009 | 1:00 AM | 237 | 34.00 | 95 | 28.61% | Fasted all day and did tons of yard work, plus a two mile walk. I'd hoped it'd be down to 235, but this will do. |
. | 6/21/2009 | 7:30 AM | 236 | 33.86 | 96 | 28.92% | This was before breakfast, a 1/2 cup cereal and a banana. And before massive cups of coffee. Between the food and fluid retention, probably went up a pound or two. |
