Eight indicators based on the observed activities of users in twenty Norwegian public libraries in 2008 and 2009 are presented

One public library in Ireland - Westside Library in Galway - is also included.

This spreadsheet also presents the data from which the indicator values are derived.

The data show the number of observations - or the percentages - of fifteen different activities during one full week.

Most of the data have been collected by second year library students during their five week trainne periods.
