Thank you for your interest to participate. At TEDx MITClubSingapore, we are keeping the audience size intimate at 50, to allow you to know all the other attendees. We have already filled most of our spots with a diverse audience that includes roles such as doctor, writer, national sailor, scientist, programmer, entrepreneur, professor, humanitarian, researcher, artist, designer, student and musician.
We want to make sure that you understand what our event is, are committed to attending on a Saturday evening and have something unique to contribute to the event.
You should know clearly that our event TEDxMITClubSingapore is not "TED in Singapore" because it is not being organized by TED. It is an independent event organized locally in the spirit of TED. To understand TEDx better, please visit http://www.ted.com/tedx. It is also not TEDx Sentosa/ TEDx Singapore/ TEDx Green. Those are other TEDx events organized independently in Singapore and we encourage you to support them as well.
TEDx MITClubSingapore will be held on a Saturday evening (Sep 12, 530-9pm) and we expect all audience members to stay and participate in the entire event.
Our event aims to encourage interaction, understanding and collaboration across different communities in Singapore in order to spread and realize brilliant ideas.
Due to the limited number of seats, we have an application process to understand if you are compatible with our event and to get an idea of how much other audience members will benefit from your participation.
