UA Staff Advisory Council Membership Application

On behalf of the President of The University of Arizona, the Staff Advisory Council is seeking nominations for new members.

Nominees must be non-probationary classified staff employees who are energetic, conscientious, and concerned with staff issues. Each must be willing to commit a minimum of eight hours a month to SAC activities.

The SAC is composed of 24 to 42 members who advise the University Administration regarding staff concerns. Since many of these issues are related to personnel policies (eg. Benefits, pay, employment practices), SAC interacts closely with the Human Resources department, as well as other departments on campus. Council members also serve on various University Committees.
