Call for Papers: Technology & Social Media in education (Abstracts)

This form is meant to guide the process of a completing an abstract for special issue 15/2 of *in education* journal. Please complete the following information by July 31, 2009. Soon after this information is submitted, you will receive feedback. Successful applicants will be asked to submit completed manuscripts by October 1, 2009. After a review and revision process, it is our hope that the issue will be published by November 30, 2009. Brief Abstract * Write a 200-500 word abstract describing your proposed submission. Include items such as: type of essay (e.g., practical/experiential, literature review, case study, data analysis, narrative, argumentative, philsophical, etc.), experiences it describes, context of the piece, participants or institutions involved, methodologies, timeframe, preliminary findings, general thesis, and/or other important characteristics.

Will you be including multimedia in your submission? * While not mandatory, we encourage the use of digital photographs, video, audio, or other media referred to or embedded within the text. Responses from this question will help the website developers handle possibilities of media inclusion. In short, we'd like to do what we can to account for new media affordances, and want to support authors through innovative possibilities. But again, this is not a mandatory requirement for submission.
