The Oregon Legislative Session meets for about 6 months every other year. The 2009 session wraps up in June. Starting in July through the Fall legislators return full-time to their home districts. We are following up with Legislators who have invited APANO to meet after the session, and Legislators who represent political districts where we have strength in numbers and/or leadership.
This brief interest survey will help us prioritize which Legislative Meetings in-district we will organize. These meetings may be as part of a town hall, a specific meeting with APANO members in-district, or a forum that we help co-organize. After such a powerful Legislative Day, Representatives and Senators are seeking to build a relationship with APANO.
