All Sections requested and were granted approval by the NYSPHSAA Executive Committee to conduct a two-year pilot program in Modified boys' track and field during the 2009 and 2010 seasons, which would increase the height of the hurdle in the 55m boys' event from 30 inches to 33 inches. At the conclusion of each season and year of the experiment, each participating school is asked to complete this survey.
The due date of this survey is Friday, June 12, 2009.
The NYSPHSAA Committee for Modified Athletics will review the survey information at its Fall 2009 meeting.
