Fostering can be very rewarding, but also very challenging. GTTD will pay for any medical costs for the dogs and as a foster you only need to provide a warm loving home, food and some toys. You may also engage in adoption events when held which would greatly increase the foster dogs chance at finding a permanent home.
As a dog coming from sometimes uncertain situations, they are taken to a vet but we cannot always guarantee the health of a dog due to negative test results and missed diagnoses, so here at GTTD try to take as many preventative measures as possible, but want our fosters to be aware and keep an eye on anything that may need our immediate attention.
The undersigned applicant hereby grants Going To The Dogs permission to confirm any information provided in this application with any appropriate third party source, including landlords, veterinarians, etc. The information obtained will be held in confidence and used only by Going To The Dogs for purposes of this adoption application.
