PRESIDENT: The President shall supervise and conduct the activities and operations of the New Orleans Photo Alliance. He or she shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors and shall keep the Board informed concerning the activities of the New Orleans Photo Alliance. He or she may sign, in the name of the New Orleans Photo Alliance, any documents and, as authorized by the Board, any contracts. He or she shall have the authority to establish committees, appoint members to serve on such committees and in particular appoint a Director of Communications, who shall oversee all responsibilities as established by the Board; it is expected that the President will attempt to attain consensus for these actions
VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT: This Vice-President shall assist the President and in the absence of the President carry out the functions of that office. He or she shall supervise and conduct the activities of developing financial resources as well as appoint and supervise a Director of Membership, who shall be responsible for maintaining the membership rolls and establishing the volunteer committee; it is expected that the VP of Development will attempt to attain consensus for these actions.
VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMMING: This Vice-President shall assist the President and in the absence of the VP of Development or President carry out the functions of those offices. He or she shall supervise and conduct the activities of developing exhibitions, educational events, public forums, and exchange programs with other similar institutions, as well as appoint a Gallery Director, who shall be responsible for all activities related to the operation of the exhibition gallery; it is expected that the VP of Programming will attempt to attain consensus for these actions.
SECRETARY: The Secretary, or his or her designee, shall be responsible for organizing meetings, preparing and keeping the minutes of all such meetings and maintaining the Corporate Records. He or she or a designate staff member shall give and serve all meeting notices of the New Orleans Photo Alliance.
TREASURER: The Treasurer shall have custody of all funds and securities of the New Orleans Photo Alliance. He or she shall keep or cause to be kept full and accurate accounts of receipts and disbursements of the corporation and shall deposit all monies and other valuable effects of the New Orleans Photo Alliance, in such bank and depositories as the Board of Directors may designate.
