Project Cereal-Box Bag Online Registration for Volunteers

Project Cereal-Box Bag is an initiative to raise funds for HighPoint Community Services Association to support the charity work that they do; making a difference in the lives of ex-offenders and their families.

Join us in this fun and eco-friendly project by turning empty cereal boxes into paper bags, and then selling them off to raise funds! :)

ALL FUNDS RAISED FROM THIS PROJECT WILL BE DONATED TO HIGHPOINT COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSOCIATION.


HOW CAN I HELP?


1. Help accumulate empty cereal boxes (Cereal-box Donator)

Drop off your empty cereal boxes at HighPoint premises @ No. 1, Lorong 23 Geylang, Singapore 388352 OR at Community of Praise Baptist Church @ Blk 18 Boon Lay Way, TradeHub 21, #04-133, 12:00 pm, on Sundays OR contact Ms. Natasha Lai @ www.facebook.com/natashalai or project.cbb@gmail.com.

2. Sign up as a Volunteer to help make cereal-box paper bags. (Cereal-box bag Maker)

Be at Highpoint on 28 Nov or 19 Dec (Saturdays). You may come anytime between 10am to 5pm and help out for as long as you like. Note: Lunch is NOT provided, but mineral water will be provided.

3. Sign up as a Facilitator to teach others how to make the cereal-box paper bags. (Cereal-box bag Facilitator)

Commit at least 2 days on the last week of Nov and/or in Dec 2009. One day (24/11, 25/11 or 26/11) for 45-minute Cereal-box bag-making training, and on 28 Nov or 19 Dec for the actual CBB-making events, 10am - 5pm. (Please inform us in the 'Remarks' section below if you cannot stay the entire day. Thanks.)

4. Sign up to be part of the Cereal-box bag Sales Team.

Help sell the completed cereal-box bags (CBB) sometime in 2010. Plans for this are still underway as we need to obtain a license to sell on the streets. Details will be emailed to all sales team volunteers closer to the date of sale. (By signing up for this role, you are indicating your interest but not confirming your participation. We will understand if you cannot make it on the actual day for whatever reasons.)
