Bark for Life is the new Dogswalk Against Cancer and we want your help to make it happen! If you want to help us find sponsors, find volunteers, publicize the event, plan the activities and entertainment, and most of all fight cancer start by becoming a committee member.
Chair positions are available, but those interested will be interviewed due to limited chair positions.
Committee member responsibilities are as follows but are not limited to the following:
- Dedicating 10-15 hours a week on Bark for Life planning - Attending the Bark for Life event on Sunday, May 16, 2010 - Recruiting at least five teams of five people each - Finding at least 5 raffle or event donations or sponsorships (dependent upon your subcommittee) - Distributing poster and brochures to at least 20 locations - Selling at least 20 raffle tickets - Forming your own team of at least five people and one dog - Selling at least one table - Fundraising at least $500 to fight cancer and celebrate more birthdays - Attending all committee meetings
