3. Please review the intramural calendar to ensure you select sport (s) for current intramural term.
4. Free Agents are not required to pay a fee to participate.
5. Free Agents are the only participants who may submit via a written form a "Switch Team Request/Transfer." A written form is sending an email to the Coordinator of Intramurals to request to be switched/transferred from the team they were orginially assigned to without penalty. The Free Agent must receive approval before the they may switch/transfer teams.
If a Free Agents fails to follow this procedure & they switch teams without receiving approval they are catergorized as an intramural participant and not a Free Agent. Once catergorized as an intramural participant & once they sign the informed consent for one (1) team they are "locked into that team roster," so, if they switch teams within the same sport & same division they are an ineligible player & will cause that team to forfeit all games in which they as an ineligible player participate which results in the inability for that team to advance to playoffs.
6. Free agents are not required to play every game in the sport (s) they are assigned. You play when it fits your schedule while your assigned team may request that you play or contact you to play on any given night, so they can avoid forfeiting the game.
7. Free agents are not requried to "try out" for a team according to intramural policies. If a Free Agent wants to continue with a team & that team has a "try out" process then that free agent is agreeing to participate based on their own decision to participate in a "try out."
8. Free Agents will be contacted by intramural personnel no later than the third (3) pre-season game or second (2) regular season game. All Free Agents will be provided with team name, league, captain's & co-captain's name & contact information, first game date, time & location & how to access game schedule.
9. The intramural department does not guarantee entry to a sport (s), league (s), team (s) or participation while we will exhaust all attempts in assigning a Free Agent to a team, even creating a Free Agent team.
