Connecting... Bringing Families and Agencies Together

Connecting…Bringing Families and Agencies Together, is an interactive website that will help potential adopters find appropriate adoption agencies. Connecting…will debut in November in time for National Adoption Month.

Connecting… will allow prospective parents to register their personal preferences based on
• where they live
• their family profile
• the type of child they are interested in adopting, and
• the type of adoption they are considering.
Connecting…will then automatically match them with appropriate agencies.

How will this benefit your agency? The National Adoption Center has referred families who are interested in adopting to agencies like yours. Connecting… will allow us to refer even more families to your agency, and do it electronically. Connecting… will also have a rating scale for families to post comments (monitored by the Center) so that other families will feel encouraged to come to your agency.

What are the next steps for your agency? The Center will post all adoption agencies, with their logos, on the site. You’ll be automatically registered when you complete a profile including a narrative of your agency, indicating to whom referrals should go. Families will always be able to see your basic information, they will not be referred until your agency has completed its registration. In order to be part of our service, we will need the following information from your organization. We thank you for your participation!
