Student Organization Registration 2009-2010

Please fill this form out completely as a PART of your yearly registration process.

Other requirements:
- 3 executive board members must attend the "Learning to Soar: Student Org Basics" from the Office of Student Life

- The Treasurer or equivalent and 1 other executive board member must attend the "Maintaining your Nest Egg: Student Org Finance" presentation if they wish to utilize the Student Activities Fund or the Office of Student Life for making purchases (this does not count for the Finance Board Workshop)

-Any 2 members must attend "Taking Flight: Successful Programming"

-3 executive board members from NEW organizations must attend "Leaving the Nest: Goals & Guides for New Organizations"

- Org officers must attend Event Management Software (EMS) training from the CCC/OSL

- A Constitution Review process is mandatory for all organizations more than 1 year old

- Submit a full member roster to student.life@iit.edu

Each organization may have up to 3 students with Event Management Software (EMS) Reservation privileges. More may be available at the discretion of the Campus and Conference Centers (CCC). Please contact the CCC with any questions about activation or use of the account.

Privileges!
Registering early gives you priority in office space and storage space allocation.

Registered student organizations can use funds from the SAF.

Registered orgs can reserve space on campus free of charge.

Registered orgs get a mailbox to receive mail.

Registered orgs can have an IIT email and web address.

Registered orgs can have an account for student org money.

Registered orgs receive advising and counseling from OSL staff.

Registered orgs can use public office supplies.
