This is a great way to compensate educators.
There must be a better way!
One idea that has been discussed (and actually acted upon in some districts), is the idea of "merit" pay. Often this is based solely on student improvement as gauged by standardized tests. How do you feel about compensating educators based upon student performance on standardized tests?

Meh, there are too many factors to tell anything meaningful about the effectiveness of the teacher this way.
