2020 vision for a fair, climate-safe Manchester

Manchester City Council is facilitating a "Climate Change Action Plan" for Manchester. It will map out how major savings of carbon dioxide will be made by 2020. It's being written by council officers, academics, campaigners and business people. This is a new and welcome way of action for the Council, especially compared to their "Call to Action" document of earlier this year. "Call to Real Action" people are helping with this plan, but we are also going to write an alternative plan, for release before the Copenhagen summit in December.
