Office of Student Life - HawkEYE Workshops, Fall 2009

Attendance at various workshops is a mandatory step for Student Orgs to complete registration. HawkEYE Workshops are intended to enhance your engagement by allowing your organization to get the most out of its partnership with the Office of Student Life.

All workshops are held in the MTCC Ballroom, with the exception of the EMS workshop, which takes place in MTCC 516.

While the OSL strives to adhere to the schedule outlined below, org members and officers will be notified if any changes are made (i.e. time, date, location) to those for which you are registered.

Workshop 1 - Learning to Soar: Student Organization Basics This workshop will overview the Office of Student Life and basic policies as well as information for Student Org leaders. Three executive board members must attend this workshop.

Workshop 2 - Maintaining Your Nest Egg: Finance for Student Organizations Learn how to navigate the monetary aspect of operating an organization, from OSL policies to Finance Board. The treasurer plus one additional member must attend this workshop.

Workshop 3 - Taking Flight: Successful Programming Find out the basics of planning and executing a program, from start to finish. Any two organization members must attend this workshop.

Workshop 4 - EMS Reservation Training (NOTE: held in MTCC 516) Any officer wishing to utilize the CCC EMS Reservation system to procure space on campus must attend this workshop.
