Spring Day for Europe is a proposal launched to all schools in the European Union. The aim is promoting communication and debate about European dimension among students from the many different countries and backgrounds in Europe. The activities are not just held on the astronomical spring day, but a period of time (March-May) is kept open for schools to organise and report about their activities. Spring was chosen because it is traditionally celebrated in schools everywhere and it is not politically connected.
