I was a registered volunteer last year at THIS school. * If the answer to this question is NO, you must complete a BCI check. Please download the Volunteer Authorization Form from http://portsmouthschoolsri.net under the Parents menu link. Forms are also available at each school building and Central Office. Submit a completed Authorization Form, signed by a Notary Public, to the VIS Coordinator at your child's school along with a copy of your Driver's License and a CHECK for $5.00 payable to BCI (cash is not accepted). Background checks are typically completed in 3-4 weeks. In the event that you are seeking approval to volunteer in more than one of our schools, only one Authorization Form is required.
