LWFC TESTIMONY FORM

A testimony is a personal witness of how our Lord has intervened in your life with His grace and kindness. God has called each one of us to share our testimonies with others. When you share your story, you will inspire others around you. Furthermore, you will reach someone for Jesus whom no one else can reach. Your public confession enables others to experience the peace and satisfaction that comes from truly giving their life over to God. So give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name! And make known His deeds among the peoples!

Your Testimony

Please submit information in the following areas with as much detail as you can, including month/year/ages, etc. whenever possible. The questions will assist you in writing your testimony. Add any additional information that you feel would help clarify your story.

STRUGGLE * 1. What was the struggle? (loss of job, broken marriage, illness, etc.) 2. What was your life like before the struggle began? 3. What did you do to make your life more fulfilling once you entered the struggle?

PREVIOUS ATTEMPTS TO OVERCOME * 1. How did you unsuccessfully attempt to overcome the struggle? 2. (Some possibilities include: accumulation of wealth or things, drugs, alcohol, sex, finding fulfillment in work, self-help books, etc.) 3. How did you feel? (lonely, lack of significance, lack of purpose, sense of emptiness, fear of death, aimlessness, lack of peace, etc.)

OVERCOME * 1. What happened to help you overcome the struggle and how did LWFC contribute? (Include the breaking point, steps you took, teachings that inspired you, an event you attended, etc.) 2. How did God use Living Word to help? 3. Who were the specific people from Living Word who encouraged you?

NOW * 1. What is life like now that God helped you overcome the struggle? (Examples: freedom from addictions, better relationships with family, a better job situation, marriage is stronger, debt decreasing, etc.) 2. How have you grown spiritually? 3. How have you applied the victory to other areas of your life?
