BLAIR RENSHAW MEMORIAL 5-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT APPLICATION
Attention All U10, U12 and U14 Coaches and Team Managers:
Our annual Blair Renshaw Memorial 5-A-Side Tournament will be held this year on Sunday, October 13th, at Clover Park!
All teams are invited to participate bringing their entire Fall team. This is a great opportunity for kids who ordinarily would not participate on a Turkey Team or a Spring Team to get some tournament experience. It is a very informal and fun tournament: 8-minute halves,free substitutions, no goalkeepers, no offside, etc. Medals are awarded to first and second place teams. Complete tournament rules and guidelines are posted on the website.
If your team would like to participate, please submit the attached application NO LATER THAN 7pm on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6. This is an absolute drop-dead cut-off -- no exceptions will be made. Coaches/Managers may only enter one team per division. Please fill out a separate application for each division.
Each team will be asked to supply ref(s) for 4 games (each game lasts 16 minutes).
We encourage teams and individual families to consider the registration fee as just the minimum amount and to exceed that amount to the best of your abilities, either as a team or as individuals. The minimum registration fee of $50 per team is payable on the day of the tournament. Team Managers should collect funds from all participating players.
The game schedule will be published late Friday night. Check in for the first game is at 8:30am with the first game starting at 9:00am. Teams with the first games must help setup the fields at 8am. Teams in the finals must help take down the fields. Finals can end as late as 5 or 6pm so inform your players and their families to prepare for an all day event.
