An apptivity is a learning activity that is developed based on the use of one or more iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad apps. The scope of an apptivity can range from a quick sponge activity used during a transition time to a full lesson. The point of an apptivity is to make a conscious decision to use one or more specific apps with at least one clearly stated instructional objective.
