Regulatory Reform South Dakota 2011

Governor Daugaard has set an ambitious goal to review and revise state government regulations. His charge for the Department of Education is to review and recommend changes in statutes, administrative rules, policies and practices that will result in fewer, shorter and simpler regulations. To achieve that goal DOE is seeking input as to what changes should be made in statutes, rules, policies or practices DOE currently governs. Keep in mind the recommendations being sought can only come from state level regulations. This project does not explore federal requirements. Please take a few minutes to share your ideas as to how state government can revise the current regulations we live by.
