TNCC Club Charter Application

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ ALL CRITERIA FOR CLUBS BEFORE FILLING IN THE APPLICATION. THANK YOU. In order for a club to be chartered at TNCC, the following criteria must be met: All club officers and members must: meet the following criteria: • Have and maintain a 2.O cumulative GPA or no U’s on transcript for students who have not earned a GPA • Be in good academic and disciplinary standing • Any club members who want to attend any off campus events sponsored by the club are required to be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours. Please submit a complete list of student members and their TNCC Student ID numbers by email to studentactivities@tncc.edu

Your club charter will not be complete and approved until the list of members is submitted. All students must meet the criteria stated at the beginning of this form and GPAs will be checked prior to charter approval. A club must have at least 10 qualified members including officers to be chartered.

Please provide an electronic copy of your club's current Constitution and Bylaws.

If you do not have these documents as a new club, please stop by the Student Activities Office for assistance. A club can not be chartered until these documents are on file in the Student Activities Office. The Club's Constitution and Bylaws should state at a minimum; the name, purpose, time/day/location of meetings, duties of officers, quorum, process to amend, and parliamentary authority. The document should also include any requirements imposed by a state or national organizational affiliation, if there is one.
