Jack Renner Distinguished Service to Oklahoma Science Education Award

The Jack Renner Award is the highest honor given by the Oklahoma Science Teachers Association. As the name of the award implies, this award is given to recognize outstanding contributions to science education on the part of an educator, business leader, corporation, government agency or some other organization or individual. The nature of the award subsumes a long-term commitment to science education on the part of the awardee. In addition to recognition at the annual OSTA Fall Conference, recipients of the Jack Renner Award receive lifetime OSTA membership. Nominations must be received no later than October 5, 2012.
