eRETA User Account Request Form (Step 1 of 3)

Go to pbsportal.pbs.gsa.gov to request access or contact your regional RWA manager for help. ====================================================== In order to obtain access to eRETA and receive a User ID, each user must complete three steps. These steps are as follows: 1) Complete all required fields below and agree to the "GSA IT General Rules of Behavior" and acknowledge the eRETA Access Rules. 2) Complete the "eRETA Application Clearance Verification Form" available at www.gsa.gov/ereta. This form is required by GSA's Personnel Security Office. Because this form requests Personally Identifiable Information (PII) please only share it with your Agency's Personnel Security office (or Human Resources Office) and GSA's Personnel Security Office. Full instructions on how to send this information securely to GSA are provided on the form. 3) After your request has been processed and all approvals have been granted**, the GSA National Application Helpdesk will send a verification email to the email address provided below. Follow the steps in that verification email to finalize your account. **Due to 3-4 offices which each handle a different aspect of the application process , we cannot provide an expected turnaround time between Step 2 and 3. If you completed this form more than 10 business days ago, please go to www.gsa.gov/ereta and visit the FAQ section at the bottom of the page to determine who you should contact to inquire about the status of your request. It is important to click the "Submit" button at the bottom of this form to ensure GSA receives your request.

Agency Bureau Code(s)

Enter the primary Agency Bureau Code (ABC) you will need access to in eRETA. This is likely the ABC that represents the agency bureau you work for. If you will need access to more than one ABC in eRETA, enter those additional ABCs in the second field and separate multiple entries by commas. NOTE: As of July 2013, eRETA has converted over to the new FIVE (5)-digit Agency Bureau Code that the entire federal government will be transitioning to in the coming months/years. Please be sure to enter the appropriate 5-digit code on this screen. For most federal agencies the 5-digit code just includes a leading "0". To review valid five-digit Agency Bureau Codes please visit www.gsa.gov/ereta and locate the "eRETA Agency Bureau Codes" file under "Step 1" of the eRETA Account Request Process"

I understand that GSA may monitor and audit my account usage and that using the system constitutes consent to such activities. I agree to use the system only for authorized purposes related to official business. I further agree that I am authorized to review information about Reimbursable Work Authorizations (RWAs) for all Agency Bureau Code(s) I have indicated on this form. Lastly, should I leave my agency or transfer to another department, I agree to immediately notify eRETA@gsa.gov to have my account terminated.
