Are you interested in creating your own 3D printed objects? The fine folks at Make:SF are looking for contributions from people who want to help purchase a MakerBot CNC cupcake machine. (http://store.makerbot.com/cupcake-cnc-deluxe-kit.html)
The machine will live at Tech Liminal, and we'll be charging an hourly fee for printing objects on it to recoup the cost and help pay the rent and utilities on our space. If you are interested in contributing to this effort, your kindness will be remunerated in printing hours.
UPDATE: Thanks to the USA arm of laser-cutting company Ponoko (http://www.ponoko.com/), we now have the case for the MakerBot.
UPDATE (9/15): The Parts have arrived! Huzzah! To pay up, you may do one of the following:
1) Cash (Preferred method) - Give it to me or Andrew
2) PayPal - firstname.lastname@example.org (or email@example.com)
3) Check - Make it out to Tech Liminal, 268 14th Street, Oakland, CA 94612
